Search refined: Targeted education with the new age filter
Building on the redesigned search experience launched in November 2025, our latest enhancement helps your clinicians find the right education with even greater precision. Base your search on the specific life stage of your patient to ensure every resource is relevant and age-appropriate.

What it is
The Age filter is an incremental update to the Ignite On-Demand search experience. It joins the existing suite of dynamic filters—Media Type, Content Type, Language, and Gender—to provide a more granular way to navigate our content library. This feature allows clinicians to instantly narrow search results based on the age metadata associated with each piece of education.
How it works
The new filter is located in the filtering panel at the top of your search results page. To use it, simply:
- Select your range: Click the Age multi-select dropdown to choose one or more of our new standard age groupings:
- Infant: 0–11 months
- Child: 1–12 years
- Teen: 12–18 years
- Adult: 18–65 years
- Senior: 65+ years
- Refine instantly: Results update automatically to show only content tagged for those specific groups.
- Track your filters: Like other search tools, your Applied Filters stay visible so you can easily see exactly how your results are being narrowed.
Why it matters
This enhancement was driven directly by client feedback to address the unique needs of specialized care.
- Clinical relevance: For organizations like pediatrics, this filter is critical for quickly isolating content for newborns or teens without sifting through non-pediatric materials.
- Efficiency at the point of care: By eliminating irrelevant results—such as 70-year-old patient data when treating a child—clinicians can spend less time searching and more time with their patients.
- Improved discoverability: Surface the most helpful, age-specific content for your patient’s unique developmental needs.
