General
Yes.
No. Videos and their transcripts cannot be edited.
Yes. Your Ignite on FHIR administrators can block Ignite education so it’s not available to end users.
In order for education to appear on the AVS, it must first appear in Chart Review. If education is appearing in Chart Review but not the AVS, check your Print Group(s) to make sure they’re configured correctly.
If education is not appearing in Chart Review:
- confirm the interface is turned on,
- confirm the interface filer is turned on, and
- confirm the user has an SER Record in their EMP Record.
If the answer to all of these is "yes," have your interface analyst check the interface queue for errors. If there are no errors, get the session id from an Ignite on FHIR session where education was provided, but did not appear in Chart Review, and provide to Ignite support to troubleshoot.
The red dot will remain and users should be trained to ignore it. The only way that nothing would appear is if the client does not have PPI, which would be a very big exception for any clients going forward.
Yes, as long as the preferred language is included in the patient’s chart and sent to Ignite on FHIR. If documents don’t exist in the preferred language, they default to English.
Custom content is managed by the client within Ignite On-Demand.
Folders
Your Ignite on FHIR administrators set up folders in Ignite On-Demand. Once finalized, the folders are available in Ignite on FHIR.
No. All folders (red, orange, and yellow) created in Ignite On-Demand will appear the same in Ignite on FHIR.
Yes. The folders icon can be hidden and then unhidden in the future if needed. Reach out to your Account Manager to submit the change request.
Favorites
An edited document can be favorited; however, once the edited document has been provided to the patient or restored to its original state, it reverts to the Ignite original. To avoid confusion, it’s best to train that an edited document cannot be favorited.
WebMD Ignite provides summary reports for each quarterly content update. Download those reports here.
Preview/Edit
There is no way to identify who edited a document in Ignite on FHIR or in Epic because it’s possible for one user to edit the document and another user to give it to the patient. In this scenario, the note in Epic would show the name of the user who provided the education and not the person who edited it. So, as a best practice, we recommend that only the user who edited a document provide it to the patient.
Yes. You can edit a custom document just as you would an Ignite document.
No. You’ll need to enter the translated verbiage into the document.
Print/Share
Yes. If removed, every resource provided to the patient will be added to the AVS. The AVS Toggle can be added back in the future if needed. Reach out to your Account Manager to submit the change request.
No. Personalization options always reset when you close a Ignite on FHIR session so you will have to click on the personalization icon each time you launch Ignite on FHIR.
Yes. If you choose multiple resources and close the Ignite on FHIR session without providing them to the patient, those documents will be selected the next time you launch Ignite on FHIR. The only way that might not happen is if another user launched Ignite on FHIR for that patient and provided the education resources you had preselected.
Search and Sort/Filter
This means there are no education resources tied to the medical code that Ignite on FHIR received from Epic. If you see this message, use the keyword search functionality to search for the condition, medication, procedure, or impression. If education resources are returned, you can have your Account Manager connect with the Ignite content team about tagging any content returned via keyword search with the medical code, so that education is suggested the next time that code is sent to Ignite.
You can expand or decrease search results by updating the filters.
